Telling an entire nation not to panic seems...counterintuitive

While many Singaporeans are familiar with the banks they store their money in, few are aware of the organisation that safeguards these deposits. The Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC) plays a vital role in protecting depositors’ interests, yet its public awareness remains relatively low. 

Our mission?

Create public awareness of SDIC’s role and the Deposit Insurance (DI) Scheme and the Policy Owners’ Protection (PPF) Scheme via Public Education (PE) Campaign utilizing various channels, including digital and social media channels.

Insight

There is an implicit fear of the unknown. By addressing the instinct to panic head-on, and making the unknown known, we reassured audiences of SDIC’s protection, enabling them to rest easy.  The campaign was rooted in human psychology, using relatable visuals and scenarios to bridge the gap between fear and confidence.

Execution

The activation came to life through an integrated campaign across a series of ATL/BTL/Digital/Social Media touchpoints.
